Shipping
Australia Post Express will take 1-3 business days, usually 1 day if the delivery address is within the next day guarantee area
Australia Post Parcel Post takes 3-5 business days to most other areas of Australia.
Courier - we use various courier brands and choose the least costly with the speediest service and typically take 3-5 business days. (remote areas like NW Australia, NT and Northern QLD can take a couple of days longer)
Shipping Terms
By accessing, browsing or purchasing from kitepower.com.au you signify your acceptance of the following (and reasonable) shipping & returns policy:
- In most cases, goods are delivered to residents in Australia by Australia Post. Items valued at over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - which will require a signature on delivery (so someone needs to be at the shipping address to sign during normal business hours).
- We offer free shipping on orders valued over $200 (a signature is required). Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
- If you return an item that was shipped for free and because you changed you mind, we will deduct a reasonable shipping fee from the refund for the item you returned.
- Shipping times are estimates and NOT guaranteed unless a premium overnight service is purchased, this will need to be arranged over the phone or via e-mail if you need something by a specific date. *Free Shipping excludes certain large items, like surfboards wing/sup foil boards and large bulky items like travel bags.
Shipping to Remote locations:
If you purchase a bulky item* and are located in a remote location we will most likely contact you via phone or email to settle on a shipping fee.
In general, if the shipping fee comes out to be more than 10% (full price) or 5% (sale price) of the value of the order we will ask you to pay the difference.
Eg.
- For full priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $10 for shipping.
- For sale priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $35 for shipping.
*defined as having a packing length longer than 105cm and/or heavier than 2kgs.
Refunds
We will charge a fee (which is simply the non refundable fee charged to Kitepower by the credit card processor) if you use the the payment link on our invoices. The fee is 2.5% of the sale amount and will be deducted from your refund. This condition ONLY applies to payments made through the link on our invoices.
If you purchase directly from our website and pay via the website there will be no refund fee, and the same applies to PayPal payments as neither of these payment gateways charge non refundable fees on payments.

When formulating the design, vital shaping input and opinion was shared by Ken Adgate, a high performance Ozone wingfoil team rider who has also hand-shaped many custom boards for leading riders in the hyper-competitive San Francisco scene.
Through accelerating the trickle down of proven technology and design that often takes years to transfer from competition to freeride gear, the Rise V1 is a cutting edge product that will suit intermediate riders and beyond, whatever their ambition.

Produced to Meet Ecoboard Level One Standards
The Rise V1 is a cutting edge product that will suit intermediate riders and beyond, whatever their ambition. Designed to be accessible and fun, riders will enjoy feeling the direct connection with their foil, that not only helps improve performance levels, but provides that all-important extra layer of user-experience.
Entirely constructed in a European factory with a Sustainable Surf Eco Certificate, there are many design features that combine to produce the Rise V1's exciting and energy-rich performance, which is suitable for a huge range of riders.
Additional Features:
- Lightweight full carbon construction with 50K foam, internal reinforcements and extra carbon layer reinforcements wrapped around the nose, rails and tail.
- The foam is also waterproof. Ding it and don't worry; you can keep on riding!
- Compact shape with refined volume distribution from nose to tail
- Progressive rockerline with medium nose rocker
- Double concave hull in nose area transitions to V tail (with a flat section around the mast track) accelerates water flow, immediately adds stability as soon as the board moves forward and aids release when needed
- Progressively bevelled rails with increased angle at the nose and front of the board, evolving to a straighter rail towards the rear of board with reverse-angled tail for excellent water release
- Recessed concave deck lowers centre of gravity for improved feeling and control
- Ultra strong, custom moulded extended mast tracks
- High quality EVA grip with centre line arch bumps and tail kick
- Strong insert blocks for footstraps, easily positioned with self-tapping screws
- Deep carry handle on hull
