By accessing, browsing or purchasing from kitepower.com.au you signify your acceptance of the following (and reasonable) shipping & returns policy:
- In most cases, goods are delivered to residents in Australia by Australia Post. Items valued at over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - which will require a signature on delivery (so someone needs to be at the shipping address to sign during normal business hours).
- We offer free shipping on orders valued over $200 (a signature is required). Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
- If you return an item that was shipped for free and because you changed you mind, we will deduct a reasonable shipping fee from the refund for the item you returned.
- Shipping times are estimates and NOT guaranteed unless a premium overnight service is purchased, this will need to be arranged over the phone or via e-mail if you need something by a specific date. *Free Shipping excludes certain large items, like surfboards wing/sup foil boards and large bulky items like travel bags.
Shipping to Remote locations:
If you purchase a bulky item* and are located in a remote location we will most likely contact you via phone or email to settle on a shipping fee.
In general, if the shipping fee comes out to be more than 10% (full price) or 5% (sale price) of the value of the order we will ask you to pay the difference.
Eg.
- For full priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $10 for shipping.
- For sale priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $35 for shipping.
*defined as having a packing length longer than 105cm and/or heavier than 2kgs.
Refunds
We will charge a fee (which is simply the non refundable fee charged to Kitepower by the credit card processor) if you use the the payment link on our invoices. The fee is 2.5% of the sale amount and will be deducted from your refund. This condition ONLY applies to payments made through the link on our invoices.
If you purchase directly from our website and pay via the website there will be no refund fee, and the same applies to PayPal payments as neither of these payment gateways charge non refundable fees on payments.

The North Atmos Hybrid 2023 is the all-round kiteboard for all kitesurfing levels! Whether performance big air, relaxed freeriding or even kite loops or first water starts - the Atmos Hybrid stands for all-round performance. The conditions at your spot are very different or your riding style is very diverse - the Atmos Hybrid does it all. It is strongly based on the High Performance Atmos Carbon but offers you more flex and therefore more comfort.
The Atmos Hybrid 2023 is a board with a Paulownia wood core. The wood core has been shaped to get thinner towards the tips, giving very good control in the middle of the deck and flex in the tips. So, you can still pick up speed and jump high even in choppy water. DU (Uni Directional) carbon fibers were used to strengthen the board in certain areas. The outer layer consists of a fiberglass construction. This offers more flex than the carbon layer on the Atmos Carbon.
New to this year's Atmos Hybrid 2023 are the centered inserts. North has done everyone a big favor with this, who is at a spot where it is flat or where there are stones or shells. Basically, the heel edge always wears out much faster than the toe edge. Thanks to the centered inserts, you can now turn the pads & straps and make your toe edge the new heel edge. This increases the lifespan of your Atmos Hybrid enormously.
On the bottom, the North Atmos Hybrid has a single concave in the center. When landing, the water surface is broken and the water is guided to the tips, where the concave then changes into quad-channel. This gives you very good grip even when kiting in very strong winds, as the channels offer a lot of control.
The average rocker ensures that you can easily go upwind and plan early in lighter winds. If you are just starting your kite career or have been doing it for a while and are looking for a very good all-round board - take a closer look at the Atmos Hybrid. It offers you a very good performance in all kinds of conditions, a relaxed cruising in chop, but you can also charge up the board super well and jump high with it. This makes the Atmos Hyrid 2023 a real all-round kiteboard to get the best out of you and your session!
