Australia Post Express will take 1-3 business days, usually 1 day if the delivery address is within the next day guarantee area
Australia Post Parcel Post takes 3-5 business days to most other areas of Australia.
Courier - we use various courier brands and choose the least costly with the speediest service and typically take 3-5 business days. (remote areas like NW Australia, NT and Northern QLD can take a couple of days longer)
Shipping Terms
By accessing, browsing or purchasing from kitepower.com.au you signify your acceptance of the following (and reasonable) shipping & returns policy:
- In most cases, goods are delivered to residents in Australia by Australia Post. Items valued at over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - which will require a signature on delivery (so someone needs to be at the shipping address to sign during normal business hours).
- We offer free shipping on orders valued over $200 (a signature is required). Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
- If you return an item that was shipped for free and because you changed you mind, we will deduct a reasonable shipping fee from the refund for the item you returned.
- Shipping times are estimates and NOT guaranteed unless a premium overnight service is purchased, this will need to be arranged over the phone or via e-mail if you need something by a specific date. *Free Shipping excludes certain large items, like surfboards wing/sup foil boards and large bulky items like travel bags.
Shipping to Remote locations:
If you purchase a bulky item* and are located in a remote location we will most likely contact you via phone or email to settle on a shipping fee.
In general, if the shipping fee comes out to be more than 10% (full price) or 5% (sale price) of the value of the order we will ask you to pay the difference.
Eg.
- For full priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $10 for shipping.
- For sale priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $35 for shipping.
*defined as having a packing length longer than 105cm and/or heavier than 2kgs.
Refunds
We will charge a fee (which is simply the non refundable fee charged to Kitepower by the credit card processor) if you use the the payment link on our invoices. The fee is 2.5% of the sale amount and will be deducted from your refund. This condition ONLY applies to payments made through the link on our invoices.
If you purchase directly from our website and pay via the website there will be no refund fee, and the same applies to PayPal payments as neither of these payment gateways charge non refundable fees on payments.

The Universal Mini Pod redefines universal mounting through reduced surface area and drag, ease of use and ultimate compatibility. Install is simplified thanks to the toolless strap and latch system, the Mini Pod can be installed or removed in seconds, making it ideal for riders chasing performance enhancement while remaining fully removable and adaptable.
The low profile shape of the Mini Pod adopts the smaller form factor of integrated masts while remaining 100% removable, meaning it’s the perfect upgrade if you’re seeking full adaptability, simpler install and improvement to ride feel without committing to an integrated mast.
Details
A three part design features an Inner Pod that mounts to the V2 Motor, and a removable Outer Pod that intentionally deforms to the shape of your mast, much like the existing pod. These two components slide onto the mast and are then secured in position with a EPDM, Aramid Fibre reinforced Rubber Strap (3 Size options included).
The smaller size minimizes wetted area, reducing drag and turbulence commonly found in traditional universal mounts. Riders will notice improved motor traction, smoother surface motoring, easier take-offs, and cleaner recovery with touchdowns.
Tech Specs
- Install Type: Toolless and instant-latching. Inner Pod requires one time mounting to the motor using provided M4 x 16mm mounting to the motor using motor-mounted).
- Strap Dimensions: Dimensions are a guide only and can be used against the width (chord) of your mast. Small: 95-110mm Medium 112-128mm and Large 130-145mm are provided. MOST masts in the market utilize the Medium Strap. See FAQ for more on mast compatibility.
- Materials: The Outer and Inner Pod are injection moulded from ABS, built to handle sun, salt, and repeated use. The straps are EPDM rubber reinforced with Aramid fibre, giving them the strength and flexibility to hold up against typical UV degradation and saltwater environments.

1x Inner Pod: Attaches directly to the motor and slides into the Outer Pod, featuring an adjustable ladder system for different mast sizes and tapers.
3x Pod Straps:interchangeable strap lengths provide a secure universal fit with quick, toolless installation. Small: 95-110mm Medium 112-128mm and Large 130-145mm.
4x M4 x 16mm Bolts: To mount the Inner Pod to your motor.
1x Mast Cable Guide: To secure the cable of your motor, to the mast
Note: You will require electrical tape or similar to secure the Motor Cable to the mast. Not included.

Mast Compatibility:
True universal compatibility requires a high level of customization without the need of additional adaptors. To achieve this, the three rubber straps have been specifically measured to fit almost every mast currently in the market*! Alongside these three lengths, the Inner Pod features a “Ladder” style adjustment system with 7 positions. Once you have selected your strap length, move the Strap up or down the ladder to adjust tension specific to your mast. A simple solution to a complex requirement that leads us to full customization and compatibility.
* While the Universal Motor Pod has seen extensive R&D and testing, there will be some masts that fall outside of compatibility due to their unique size or shape. See FAQ below for more.
