These are the two 40v batteries compatible with the Foil Drive Assist MAX system.
The Foil Drive MAX Power Battery is the largest battery with 498 Wh capacity. This offers the longest run time with for those looking for high power performance.
The Foil Drive MAX Sport Battery is the smaller, lighter MAX battery with 332 Wh capacity. This offers Assist MAX users the ability to reduce the weight of their install for those riders looking for ultimate performance at the cost of reduced runtime.
As with all Gen 2 Foil Drive batteries, the MAX Power Battery is certified IP68 rated for increased protection and peace of mind against water and dust. The single power plug contains larger connectors that provide power to the Foil Drive unit and smaller connectors for charging the battery. The included dust cap provides extra protection during storage & transport.

Slim Endurance Battery
The Foil Drive Slim Endurance Battery is the larger SLIM battery with 241Wh capacity. The Endurance Battery is great for those who are wanting to lengthen their runtime with the Assist Slim, however due to the lower voltage this battery does not provide the same level of thrust and overall ride experience as the Slim Performance Battery.
The Slim Endurance Battery is the only Gen2 battery that runs on a 28V system, this means you must use the 28V Standard Charger 4A with this battery. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CHARGE THIS BATTERY WITH A 40V Charger!

As with all Gen2 Foil Drive batteries, the Slim Endurance Battery is certified IP68 rated for increased protection and peace of mind against water and dust.
The single power plug contains larger connectors that provide power to the Foil Drive unit and smaller connectors for charging the battery. The included dust cap provides extra protection during storage & transport.
Only compatible with Foil Drive Assist Slim.
DO NOT use the 40v Fast Charger 8amp with the Slim Performance battery.

Additional Lithium-Ion battery for the Foil Drive Assist PLUS system only. Not compatible with Assist.

Small 4.2ah Battery = 0.6kg (Strictly no e-foiling)
The Small 4.2ah Battery is perfect for Wing Ding riders or competent Down Wind Foilers who want to reduce weight for pumping and turning and only need to use full power for very short periods to get up on foil.
Want to take your Foil Drive Assist PLUS on holidays with you? With the Small 4.2ah batteries, now you can! The Small Battery (120.9wh) is under the 160wh energy limit for airline travel.
Important: When flying on your chosen airline, be sure to contact them well before you fly. Please read this article for further direction as to the limitations and safety processes to follow when flying - DG rules are taken extremely seriously and must not be broken.

The battery is purpose designed, built, and tested especially for the Foil Drive Assist system. Every battery has been carefully manufactured and extensively tested in house, featuring a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) to ensure safety. The BMS manages the charge rate, balance of the individual cells, low and high voltage cut-off, internal resistance and temperature monitoring.
If you are purchasing a new battery and have an existing charger, you may require a V2 Battery Adaptor Lead. We have changed the plugs on the V2 batteries so original V1 Charger require this adaptor lead, you can learn more.
Airline Travel Bundle Battery
Want to take your Foil Drive Assist PLUS on holidays with you? With the Small 4.2ah batteries you can! The Small Battery (120.9wh) is under the 160wh energy limit for airline travel.
Lithium-Ion battery for the Foil Drive Assist PLUS system only. Not compatible with Assist.
The Small 4.2ah Battery alone is perfect for Winging or competent Down Wind Foilers looking to reduce the weight. Due to it's size, this battery can only be used use full power for very short periods to get up on foil, it cannot be used for efoiling. Small Batteries can be purchased individually.
The included Parallel Y Lead connects 2x Small 4.2ah Batteries together, creating the capacity of an 8.4ah battery (2/3's a Standard Battery). Two batteries have been designed to fit together inside the electronics Box, you must follow the placement and orientation directions in the images above.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
When flying on your chosen airline, you must contact them well before you fly as you will need prior approval for these batteries. Most airlines will allow a maximum of 3x spare batteries and generally must be in carry-on luggage. However please confirm with your airline first! Batteries will need to be below 30% State of Charge (SOC) and have both charge and discharge plugs protected with electrical tape with each battery in its Lipo bag for protection. (This advice is generic and must be confirmed with your airline. DG rules are taken extremely seriously and must not be broken.)
