By accessing, browsing or purchasing from kitepower.com.au you signify your acceptance of the following (and reasonable) shipping & returns policy:
- In most cases, goods are delivered to residents in Australia by Australia Post. Items valued at over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - which will require a signature on delivery (so someone needs to be at the shipping address to sign during normal business hours).
- We offer free shipping on orders valued over $200 (a signature is required). Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
- If you return an item that was shipped for free and because you changed you mind, we will deduct a reasonable shipping fee from the refund for the item you returned.
- Shipping times are estimates and NOT guaranteed unless a premium overnight service is purchased, this will need to be arranged over the phone or via e-mail if you need something by a specific date. *Free Shipping excludes certain large items, like surfboards wing/sup foil boards and large bulky items like travel bags.
Shipping to Remote locations:
If you purchase a bulky item* and are located in a remote location we will most likely contact you via phone or email to settle on a shipping fee.
In general, if the shipping fee comes out to be more than 10% (full price) or 5% (sale price) of the value of the order we will ask you to pay the difference.
Eg.
- For full priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $10 for shipping.
- For sale priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $35 for shipping.
*defined as having a packing length longer than 105cm and/or heavier than 2kgs.
Refunds
We will charge a fee (which is simply the non refundable fee charged to Kitepower by the credit card processor) if you use the the payment link on our invoices. The fee is 2.5% of the sale amount and will be deducted from your refund. This condition ONLY applies to payments made through the link on our invoices.
If you purchase directly from our website and pay via the website there will be no refund fee, and the same applies to PayPal payments as neither of these payment gateways charge non refundable fees on payments.

The brand new Core Choice 5 is here! More versatile and accessible than ever. The Core Choice 5 will soon be your favorite freestyle, freeride and big air kiteboard! This time Core has made the Choice 5 a bit thinner so the Choice 5 offers more flexibility for more comfort and control in choppy conditions. The Choice 5 stays true to its sporty character, but this fifth version of the Choice will also go upwind compared to the previous version while being 250g lighter! As with all other new Core Kiteboards, you can mount the Revo Grab Handle (sold separately) to make going upwind even easier.
The Choice 5 by Core is an all-round freestyle kiteboard. It doesn't matter whether your home spot is flat water, choppy water or waves, the Choice is a super all-rounder with a focus on freestyle properties. Thanks to the reinforced inserts, you can ride the Choice 5 with pads & straps as well as with boots. The board rides very comfortably in the chop and thanks to the tucked-under rails it has a super good grip on the water.
The design of the rails is new to the Core Choice 5. Instead of the previous ABS rails, ABS composite rods are now used, which consist of up to 80 layers. During production, these are connected directly and solidly to the Cartan Carbon. This unibody technology comes from ski racing and is now also used on the water. In addition, the wooden slats are pre-sorted and arranged differently on the Choice 5. This results in a more homogeneous and stable wood core, which is also lighter.
So, if you want more pop for your rotational jumps, want to ride radical freestyle sessions in straps or boots, or are a beginner and want to take your tricks to the next level and want to be a little more sporty, the Core Choice 5 is the right choice for you!
