Australia Post Express will take 1-3 business days, usually 1 day if the delivery address is within the next day guarantee area
Australia Post Parcel Post takes 3-5 business days to most other areas of Australia.
Courier - we use various courier brands and choose the least costly with the speediest service and typically take 3-5 business days. (remote areas like NW Australia, NT and Northern QLD can take a couple of days longer)
Shipping Terms
By accessing, browsing or purchasing from kitepower.com.au you signify your acceptance of the following (and reasonable) shipping & returns policy:
- In most cases, goods are delivered to residents in Australia by Australia Post. Items valued at over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - which will require a signature on delivery (so someone needs to be at the shipping address to sign during normal business hours).
- We offer free shipping on orders valued over $200 (a signature is required). Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
- If you return an item that was shipped for free and because you changed you mind, we will deduct a reasonable shipping fee from the refund for the item you returned.
- Shipping times are estimates and NOT guaranteed unless a premium overnight service is purchased, this will need to be arranged over the phone or via e-mail if you need something by a specific date. *Free Shipping excludes certain large items, like surfboards wing/sup foil boards and large bulky items like travel bags.
Shipping to Remote locations:
If you purchase a bulky item* and are located in a remote location we will most likely contact you via phone or email to settle on a shipping fee.
In general, if the shipping fee comes out to be more than 10% (full price) or 5% (sale price) of the value of the order we will ask you to pay the difference.
Eg.
- For full priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $10 for shipping.
- For sale priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $35 for shipping.
*defined as having a packing length longer than 105cm and/or heavier than 2kgs.
Refunds
We will charge a fee (which is simply the non refundable fee charged to Kitepower by the credit card processor) if you use the the payment link on our invoices. The fee is 2.5% of the sale amount and will be deducted from your refund. This condition ONLY applies to payments made through the link on our invoices.
If you purchase directly from our website and pay via the website there will be no refund fee, and the same applies to PayPal payments as neither of these payment gateways charge non refundable fees on payments.

The Kaiwi mast is a pure performance mast designed to minimize drag and maximize glide efficiency for downwind racing, pump foiling, and prone foiling. With more than a year of development behind it, its capabilities are beyond doubt, having already topped international podiums across all three disciplines.
By optimizing for smaller-span wings and lighter riders, the Kaiwi achieves an exceptionally low-drag profile that larger, stiffer masts simply cannot match. Designed for wings up to 100 cm in span (excluding the Tempo) and riders weighing 85 kg or less, it represents a no-compromise approach to delivering maximum efficiency for those who demand the highest levels of performance.
An in-depth analysis of both hydrodynamics and structural loading led the R&D team to optimize every aspect of the mast's geometry and material stiffness. What began as a project to create the world's most efficient downwind race mast soon proved to have much broader appeal, with its exceptional efficiency benefiting any rider seeking less drag, improved glide, and greater control, provided they fall within the recommended weight range and use foils with a span under 100 cm.
While our Ultra Pro and Fatty masts deliver superior stiffness and enhanced control for heavier riders and larger-span wings, neither can match the efficiency and minimal drag that make the Kaiwi so effective in glide-dominated disciplines.
