The AXIS Research Team's latest release
On the water, this wing blows your mind! This wing sits at the apex of wing design and development, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for a foil. The incredible low friction speed and glide of this wing, coupled with effortless pump and efficiency, enables you to ride the smallest bump way further outside the surf zone than you would have previously thought was possible. The qualities that separate this wing from the pack is how well it turns, effortlessly rolling between turns, and is actually comparable to a surf wing (especially matched with an Axisadvanced fusealge). Despite the high-performance features of the AXIS ART series, it is a surprisingly user-friendly wing. The stall speed is incredibly low, giving even advanced beginner to intermediate riders an accessible platform for learning to pump and rapid progression.
The team here at AXIS are extremely excited and anticipates that this very responsive, nimble yet confidently precise, and stable wing will take the down-winding, winging, wind foiling, and smaller surf markets by storm.
Thoroughly tested and approved after several rounds of refinement, these reduced chord, high aspect wings are the most advanced, hydrodynamically efficient foil design on the market today. When combined with an AXIS Carbon mast and your favorite AXIS rear wing, they provide the ultimate friction free ride.
AXIS ART 1099 Carbon Wing - NEW!
ART 1099 – so what's so special about it? You've probably heard rumours about larger ART's in development. We've certainly been inundated with enquiries and requests, but we took our time to get this one perfect, and we can't be prouder.
With an Aspect Ratio of 10.6, the distinctive look of the ART family is taken to a whole new level, as is the performance.
The releases of the ART 999, 899 & 799 gave us the confidence to push the wing span and resulting aspect ratio limits further than ever before. With much subtle refinement in R&D, the AXIS ART 1099 has been richly rewarding us with outstanding results.
The glide is out of this world, endless, smooth and yet very fast for its size, but not at the expense of its ability to turn or pump. Low stall speeds and unexpected ease of use that characterise the smaller siblings in the ART range remains and are even enhanced on the ART 1099.
The ART 1099 once again proves that these reduced chord, high aspect wings are the most advanced, hydrodynamically efficient foil designs on the market today. When combined with an AXIS Carbon mast and AXIS Progressive rear wings, they provide the ultimate friction free ride.
A caution though, once you've ridden the ART 1099, it's very difficult to be happy with anything else.
The ART 1099 was not designed for Jumping.

AXIS ART 699 Carbon Wing (PRE-ORDER NOW)
The ART699 has considerably less tip turn-down than the larger ARTs. If you’re towing and prone surfing larger more powerful waves, winging in higher wind conditions or are a smaller/lighter rider, this is the ultimate controlled speed machine.
Our team riders are generally using the ART 699 with an Advance Ultrashort, Crazyshort or Sillyshort fuselage and pairing it with a small Progressive rear like the 300/61.
