Shipping
Australia Post Express will take 1-3 business days, usually 1 day if the delivery address is within the next day guarantee area
Australia Post Parcel Post takes 3-5 business days to most other areas of Australia.
Courier - we use various courier brands and choose the least costly with the speediest service and typically take 3-5 business days. (remote areas like NW Australia, NT and Northern QLD can take a couple of days longer)
Shipping Terms
By accessing, browsing or purchasing from kitepower.com.au you signify your acceptance of the following (and reasonable) shipping & returns policy:
- In most cases, goods are delivered to residents in Australia by Australia Post. Items valued at over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - which will require a signature on delivery (so someone needs to be at the shipping address to sign during normal business hours).
- We offer free shipping on orders valued over $200 (a signature is required). Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
- If you return an item that was shipped for free and because you changed you mind, we will deduct a reasonable shipping fee from the refund for the item you returned.
- Shipping times are estimates and NOT guaranteed unless a premium overnight service is purchased, this will need to be arranged over the phone or via e-mail if you need something by a specific date. *Free Shipping excludes certain large items, like surfboards wing/sup foil boards and large bulky items like travel bags.
Shipping to Remote locations:
If you purchase a bulky item* and are located in a remote location we will most likely contact you via phone or email to settle on a shipping fee.
In general, if the shipping fee comes out to be more than 10% (full price) or 5% (sale price) of the value of the order we will ask you to pay the difference.
Eg.
- For full priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $10 for shipping.
- For sale priced orders, if an order has a value of $500 and the most affordable shipping option available is $60 we will request $35 for shipping.
*defined as having a packing length longer than 105cm and/or heavier than 2kgs.
Refunds
We will charge a fee (which is simply the non refundable fee charged to Kitepower by the credit card processor) if you use the the payment link on our invoices. The fee is 2.5% of the sale amount and will be deducted from your refund. This condition ONLY applies to payments made through the link on our invoices.
If you purchase directly from our website and pay via the website there will be no refund fee, and the same applies to PayPal payments as neither of these payment gateways charge non refundable fees on payments.

Full Length Drive Channels provide unmatched rail control and
stability even when edging massively over-powered and when
combined with the Tunnel Concave Tips these features prevent
the fins from catching even on the heaviest landings. Added for the
first time is our all-new Dynamic Fin Positioning System allowing
you to tune your board for the conditions at hand.
If record-breaking airs are your passion, BARACUS is built to
perform. It offers the explosive power needed for vertical takeoffs
and the precision required for hard landings both controlled and
“not so” controlled!

Mid-section Rail Bevel
Increasing speed and agility our new rail bevel enhances both grip and carving ability improving control, forgiveness and rider comfort and allowing you to commit to more power and more edge without fear of slipping
Three-step Rocker Profile
A departure from our more usual constant curve camber, Baracus features a highly developed 3-stage profile. Increased grip and POP are joined by reduced spin-out and more edge hold. Faster, stronger and more forgiving – the perfect recipe for a Big Air deck.
Dynamic Fin Positioning System (DFPS)
A sign of our constant drive to innovate, the Dynamic Fin Positioning System allows you to tune the amount of rail grip you need depending on the conditions. High levels of grip sacrifice your performance and efficiency in light winds but when the wind cranks up the DFPS allows you to instantly re-align the fins for maximum grip. Maximum efficieny in light winds and maximum grip when powered up – DFPS is a game changer.
Full Length over lapping Drive Channels
By overlapping the rail and tip channels Baracus reduces the energy sapping flex area located just behind the riders rear foot ensuring it can handle high power levels and bone jarringly hard landings with ease. The central tail concave helps to lift the nose- ideal when landing with commitment or when things simply don't go quite as planned!
