Lightweight hardshell with carbon from Ride Engine
The Ride Engine Elite Carbon V7 is 25% lighter this year. Ride Engine has reimagined every part of the Elite Carbon to use thinner and more flexible materials where possible without compromising the performance of the harness. The hard shell is made of 12K carbon. 12K carbon is lightweight, strong and ergonomically shaped. Thanks to the carbon, the Elite Carbon V7 is the stiffest harness in the Ride Engine collection. An additional advantage of the hard shell is that the load is very well distributed from the spreader bar to the hard shell, so that the harness does not kink or clamp. The Elite Carbon V7 no longer has traditional tires where the spreader bar is attached. Ride Engine has a unique ladder-lock system. With the ladder-lock system you can adjust the tires by means of a lever system. The system is super user-friendly and ensures that the straps do not loosen as the session. Ride Engine describes it as a "set it and forget it" spreader bar system. Fusion memory foam is used on the inside of the harness. Memory foam is super soft and ergonomic foam that adapts to the shape of your torso for ultimate comfort and optimal grip. The Elite Carbon V7's shape is based on over 1000 custom molds. All this data has been put together and this is how the super tight Lumbar Lock fit of the Elite Carbon was created. You don't even have to pull the Elite Carbon tight and the harness already hangs around your waist!
For freestyle riders, the harness comes with a handle-pass-leash attachment on the back. The Elite Carbon V7 also has two attachment points in the front for the use of a short leash.
