The Geelong store is THE original Kitepower store. Opened in 1993, it's now moved 50m down the road from it's original location, and has grown steadily since, to be a dedicated 'Everything Kites and Kiteboarding' store.

We also stock kitemaking materials, bulk line, juggling gear and many spare parts - one of the only remaining 'full service' kite stores in Victoria.

'Sustainability' statement: At Kitepower in Geelong, we are 'low impact' business.  We source 75% of our electricity from renewable sources, and we have installed a solar heater (for raising the air temp in winter).  We also recycle just about everything, and re-use as much packaging as possible.  It's a small guesture, but a recognition of the limits of our growth addicted world.

Staff:
Goshen Watts is owner and manager of the Geelong store, and has been with Kitepower since 1999.  He kitesurfs (IKO Level 2 instructor), but specializes in landboarding.  Other kiteboarding instructors for Kitepower in Geelong are Andre Limsowtin & Joel Ryan, all are local kiteboarders who have completed the IKO training.

Stella Brody has been with Kitepower for several years. Stella works one day a week, normally a Monday. She is very helpful on much of the range that we stock.

John Muir has been at Kitepower since 2006, and is our resident kiteboarding expert.  He can regularly be seen on the water at Pt Henry, or Altona.
