I can't find something on your site - Check our Resource Centre
If it's a product (incl. lessons) you are looking for, then please use our Catalogue, or Product Search feature at the top of this page. Or check out Site Map.
What is a Coupon, and how do I get one?
Coupons are special offers we place on certain products or categories from time to time - or we might use these in our email or offline promotions. If you find a valid coupon (you'll see a code, eg X15CNSO7). Enter this into the Coupon Field on checkout, and the relevant discount will be applied to your order. Only one coupon available per order. A Special Offer is different, and will automatically apply if your order meets the criteria.
Do you match prices?
Yes! We have price matching policy, where we will match our competitors prices. Click the link for more info.
What form of Credit Card authenticating does Kitepower use?
Credit Card information you submit is stored on our hosts Secure Server (SSL 128bit encryption) until we process your order. One of our staff then processes your order manually, then packs and ships your order. If there are any concerns, we will contact you prior to charging your card. If you have concerns entering your cc info, then you are welcome to place an order using the phone / fax option - simply complete the order, then call us (or we can call you) for payment information.
I don't have (or want to use) a credit card, how can I pay for my order?
We do accept other payment methods, including direct deposit, paypal, cheque or money order. You'll be given an option to choose the appropriate payment method of your choice when you 'check out'. We will provide you with further instructions via email (ie, provide our bank details, or address to send the cheque).
Is your site secure?
Your information is always held in a secure environment, using the latest 128 bit SSL Security. We use our own Signed Certificate validated and generated by Comodo SSL. This includes a $10,000 insurance guarantee for any orders you place on our site! You will enter a secure environment when you enter your personal info, or use our checkout.
I'm in Australia - How will you ship my order ship to me?
In most cases, goods are delivered to you by Australia Post. Items over $100 are sent by Registered Post or Courier - at no additional cost to you. Items longer than 1m or heavier than 10kg may need to be sent via a Courier, and cannot be sent to a PO Box. We will contact you if this is the case, and you will need to provide a daytime address where someone can sign for the goods upon delivery.
Do you accept international Orders?
We welcome orders from countries other than Australia. The Australian GST (Goods & Services Tax) is NOT payable on overseas orders. When you submit your order, the GST will be deducted from your final amount. Please contact us if you need more info about the GST. International orders can be sent airfreight or economy which is charged at cost. Due to the huge variety of sizes and weights for kites and related gear, we quote you on the delivery charge after you place your order (the postage on your order will be $0 by default). Once you accept the quotation, the order will proceed as normal.
Can I return goods I bought from Kitepower?
We have a Satisfaction Guarantee, and you are welcome to return unused items (at your expense) provided you do so within 14 days. Please see our Terms and Conditions Page for more info. Most manufactures have a warranty on their equipement, and we will honour these where applicable.
Do I need lessons to purchase Traction, or Kiteboarding Kites?
Flying a power or traction kite can be extremely dangerous, especially in strong winds. It is the users responsibility to know how to safely and properly fly any sort of traction or a kiteboarding kite. If you need lessons, then please visit our lessons page - or get professional instruction in your area. We are happy to help should you need it.
