The Geelong store is THE original Kitepower store. Opened in 1993, it's now moved 50m down the road from it's original location, and has grown steadily since, to be a dedicated 'Everything Kites and Kiteboarding' store.
We also stock kitemaking materials, bulk line and many spare parts.
Staff:
Goshen Watts is owner and manager of the Geelong store, and has been with Kitepower since 1999. He also helps with maintaining the website. He kitesurfs (IKO Level 2 instructor), but specializes in landboarding. Other kiteboarding instructors for Kitepower in Geelong are Andre Limsowtin & Joel Ryan, all are local kiteboarders who have completed the IKO training.
Stella Brody has been with Kitepower for several years. Stella works one day a week, normally a Monday. She is very helpful on much of the range that we stock.
John Muir has been at Kitepower since 2006, and is a very competent Kiteboarder. He can regularly be seen on the water at Pt Henry, or Altona.
